The Experienced Worker Practical Assessment (EWPA) is a fast-track route designed to assess the skills and knowledge of individuals with significant on-site experience. It provides a convenient way to work towards achieving an NVQ Level 2 in Lead Work or Hard Metals.
If you have at least 5 years of site experience, you may be eligible to complete the EWPA at one of our approved training centres. This assessment method recognises your existing skills through practical tasks and structured evaluation—helping you gain your NVQ without the need for long-term training.
