NCTS is proud to be a major sponsor of this year’s Women in Roofing conference – a UK event to highlight the positive difference women are making to the roofing industry.

Featuring a variety of key speakers, their themes will focus on a range of subjects from promoting female role models in roofing and better practices in recruitment, to considering employees’ mental health and ‘team’ wellbeing.

Jayne Fergusson, Operations Director at NCTS, said: “We are delighted to support this year’s Women in Roofing Conference. It’s an organisation which chimes with our ethos of developing the skills base of a new generation of roofers, which has to include more women.”

Now in its third year, the Women in Roofing conference, subtitled ‘Reflections on Roofing’, is not only a chance to learn about industry tools and techniques, it incorporates a host of networking opportunities with influencers in the sector and other businesses. Dr Blind Dave Heeley is among this year’s keynote speakers. As the world’s first blind man to complete seven marathons in seven days across seven continents, the audience is promised a truly unique and inspirational presentation.

Jayne Fergusson added: “This year’s conference promises to be the biggest and best yet. It’s a great opportunity for NCTS to promote the many training opportunities we offer those in the roofing industry to gain the skills and qualifications they need to further their career. We look forward to seeing you all.”

This year’s Women in Roofing Conference takes place on March 14th at The Raddison Blu Hotel, East Midlands Airport.
